Fiona earned her AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy award at 3 months old before beginning her show career.  In her 4-6 month old Beginner Puppy Class  debut, she had Sporting Group placements three days in a row, followed by going BEST IN SHOW PUPPY at the Gloucester County KC show!!!  In her first "grown up" show, she took Reserve Wiinners Bitch at a major from the 6-9 month puppy class, and followed it up with a 4 point major!!  She placed 4th in her first National Sweepstakes and the following week, at barely 13 months old, took a Sporting Group 1st in the Owner Handled Series!! Her championship was finalized with a 4 point major win and she is now a Grand Championship.

Fiona  is eager to learn and fun to train.  She earned her Canine Good Citizen title at 12 months old at the National Specialty Show and she earned her JH title easily (also at 12 months) in consecutive tests, pointing birds with style.  At 18 months old, she earned her first K9 Nose Work title! She's earned AKC Trick Dog titles, AKC Rally and Cyber Rally-O titles, AKC Scent Work and NACSW Nose Work titles and the Versatility Certificate from the GSPCA for all of her accomplishments.

Fiona's first breeding has produced AKC and UKC Champions, with puppies earning titles in hunting and performance venues as well.

In her second weekend of showing, at just 6 months old, competing against adults in the Bred By Exhibitor class, Annabelle went Winner's Bitch for a 3-point major!!!  The judge said "she floated." The following week she won her class at the GSP Club of Wisconsin Specialty show! Annabelle  placed 3rd in Puppy Sweepstakes and 2nd in her class at the 2014 National Specialty Show.  She won her second major going Best of Winners and Best of Breed Owner Handled in 2016.

Annabelle is ALL about birds!  She earned a placement in one of her first field trials and earned her Junior Hunter title in four consecutive tests over two weekends!!

Annabelle's first litter produced puppies who have been doing well in the show ring, (CH Rosewood's Fire N' Lightning earned his championship at 13 months old!) in the field, and in K9 Nose Work - not to mention being superb companions!!

I LOVE LUCY!!!  We never thought this puppy's litter name would fit her so perfectly, but everyone who meets Lucy just falls in love.

Lucy's proven that show dogs CAN humt by earning three of her Junior Hunter legs consecutively at 7 months old and finishing her title the next weekend at 8 months - high scores on all legs - and placing in her first field trial!
In the breed ring she won her first major at 12 months old, going Best of Breed over 9 champions for 4 points, then placing 3rd in Intermediate Futurity at the National Specialty Show and finishing her championship with a major Specialty Show win!!! GCH CH Rosewood's Pretty L'il Bleusette RN JH CGC participated in the 2011 Eukaneuba Show!

Lucy made her Obedience debut placing 1st in Rally Novice at the 2011 National Specialty Show and finished her title in 2nd place at an outdoor trial.  At only 2 years old, she was awarded the Versatility Certificate from the German Shorthaired Pointer Club of America!

In the sport of K9 Nose Work, Lucy earned her NW1 title with Pronouncement and placed 5th overall out of 48 entries.

May 23, 2005  ~  April 8, 2021

Mia took Reserve Winner's Bitch and Best Puppy of Breed at her first major show!  She is a quick-study and loves learning.  She took to field work readily and earned her Junior Hunter title quickly with judges commenting that it was a
pleasure to watch this dog work.  Mia is now in training for K9Nosework, having passed her first ORT in 8 seconds!  She has earned Intermediate Standard and Jumping titles in VALOR agility  with comments like these from the judges:
"Wow! She just FLIES over those jumps! Very pretty jumper!"

Mia continued in the Bleugras tradition, and began a Rosewood tradition, of producing beautiful, correct, GSP puppies.  Her first litter produced 3 Champions, one of whom is also a Grand Champion with a Versatility Certificate from the German Shorthaired Pointer Club of America.

Mia left us unexpectedly only a couple of weeks shy of her 16th birthday.  Our hearts were broken, but we took comfort in knowing that she lived her life to the fullest and gave us her beautiful daughter, Lucy, and granddaughter, Annabelle.
